Wojciech Szczesny - He could be really bored during the match.
Szczesny had to defend the goal only once. It can be said, that he did what he
could, but to be honest, there was no chance to demonstrate his high level
skills.
Pawel Olkowski – His performance was a huge misunderstanding.
From the beginning of new season, he has appeared on II Bundesliga’s pitch only
for 29 minutes. Yesterday, he proved that he is completely without form. FC
Koln’s footballer had a big problem with accurate and speed duel. What is more,
sometimes he couldn’t deal with amateurs from Gibraltar. Nobody knew – besides
Adam Nawalka – why he played for all 90 minutes.
Lukas Szukala – FC Steaua BucureÈ™ti’s defender played hard end effectively. Lukas
scored his first goal in Poland national team, but even that he wasn’t perfect.
Szukala had some problems with putting the ball into the game.
Kamil Glik – FC Torino’s capitain was more visible in enemy’s penalty area than in
his own half. He had few chances for scoring goal but his headers were
generally too anemic or fire-fighter (and also goalkeeper), Jordan Perez faced
up to its responsibilities. At the beginning Glik tried overhead kick, but he
could hurt his opponent and Kamil got silly, but well-deserved yellow card.
Jakub Wawrzyniak – Lousy. Weak. Implausible. He is the Lord of
polish net (like Lord Bendtner), and almost everybody from the country on the
Vistula river want someone else on his position. Better left full back could be
for example Maciej Sadlok, who is returning to his basic form after severe
injury.
Maciej Rybus – One of the best Russian Premier League’s winger in national team
usually disappoints all polish fans. It was the same yesterday. He was really
ambitious, he tried being everywhere, he wanted score a goal, but he was tense.
That is the reason why he is totally different player than in Terek Grozny’s
club. Many of his passes were far away of the target. He couldn’t win 1 on 1
duel. Maciej lost most of the balls, but even that, he noticed few assists.
Grzegorz Krychowiak – Old defensive midfield school. He is
classical defensive bolt, who is great in tackle, fantastic in stopping
opponents’ actions, but not necessary so good in creating them. Against so weak
team he was completely useless. Fc Sevilla’s footballer didn’t do anything
valuable. Krychowiak was one of the worst players in White Eagles team.
Mateusz Klich – After superb season in PEC Zwolle, where he won Netherlands Cup,
Mateusz has come back to Wolfsburg. It seems to be bad decision, because he is
a shadow of his own. He was just invisible yesterday. During the match Klich
was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He didn’t deserve to play against
Germany on 11 October 2014.
Kamil Grosicki – After that match “Grosik” is almost sure
playing against Germany. He proved his quality and usability. Kamil wasn’t
afraid of shooting, he won most of duels, he was really fast and finally, he
scored 2 goals. Wonderful performance.
Arkadiusz Milik – It was parody that he got nominated to play.
He is necessary in under-21 Poland national team, because tomorrow they are
fighting with Greece. Adam Nawalka decided differently. Young Ajax Amsterdam
footballer tried to score a goal and he was close to do this. Good in
offensive, but versus stronger opponent his ability will be insufficient.
Robert Lewandowski – Match of two absolutely different half.
First 45 minutes were completely disaster, but real show started in second 45
minutes. Bayern Monchen striker scored, like against Real Madryt, 4 goals.
“Lewy” definitely was the most valuable player of that match. He was real
“Lewangoalski”.
Substitutes:
Krzysztof Maczynski – The biggest surprised. Everybody was in
shocked that he will be play, but he was really good. His passes were the fear
of every Gibraltar player, he played fantastic no-look passes and sent signal
to attack.
Waldemar Sobota – He should score 2 goals in one action but he
was too nervous. He was combative, but it wasn’t enough to convince about his
usefulness.
Filip Starzynski – His performance was too short to rating him.
